The Medical Center Archives creates physical and virtual exhibits in order to highlight our holdings and Duke Medicine’s history. Physical exhibits are on display during Medical Alumni Weekend and Nursing Alumni Weekend, as well as on an ongoing basis in the Medical Center Library. Past virtual exhibits include: “Duke Poison Control Center: A Retrospective Exhibit,” “Improving Patient Care by Capturing Computerized data,” “Rescue and Recovery of the USS Squalus,” and “Women in Duke Medicine: An oral history exhibit.”
Image collection projects highlight the development of medicine from the broad (Historical Images in Medicine), local (Foundations of Excellence), and program (PA History Digital Collection) perspectives.
